Description:
This Magill Endotracheal Apparatus was introduced in 1932 as an improvement on previous versions of 1921, (an warmed ether/air insufflation device), 1923 (a nitrous oxide, oxygen and ether device) and 1927 (see 20110003). It incorporates dry gas flow meters and a Sparklet CO2 dispenser added to the original device. It is complex, compact and portable, designed for the peripatetic anaesthetist. The outlet incorporates a bag-mount and is wide bore.
