Description:
The practice of placing the needle flow control valve downstream of the flowmeter tube means that the meter operates at pipeline pressure and is then relatively imune to the fluctuations of back pressure as produced by certain minute volume divider lung ventilators such as the Manley (Blease) ventilator. This device features an early version of the anti-confusion quick-connect fitting.
