Description:
BS 1319 (1946) was discontinued in 1952 when it was replaced by ISO R 32-1957 and then by ISO 32 (1977). The current European Union code (BS EN 1089;3) identifies gas by shoulder colour of cylinder and is due to be enforced by July 1, 2006. Colour coding is not legally enforced in the USA.
